JOB 15:20 & 21 “The wicked man writhes with pain all his days, and the number of years is hidden from the oppressor. Dreadful sounds are in his ears; in prosperity the destroyer comes upon him.”
Brent IAm“Temptation is like love, we have options to the way in which we choose to react.”
Following is an excerpt from a letter that I wrote to a student. I have also added some further commentary in brackets:
Now the issue that you raised about the brighter we shine the more we attract evil or ‘Dark Forces’. This is far from true my dear friend, as the brighter you or I shine the more the evil in others is quelled and the more that you or I bring out the highest good that does exist in each and every human being.
You see each being on this planet does have a bright shining light within them; they have just clouded it over with multiple layers of grey depending on their individual karma and their past life and current life experiences.
Opening ones heart, embracing life and shining as bright as we possibly can, is the way that we will ultimately be protected. It does open us to our personal karma; however, God never gives us anything that we cannot handle. God implements the karmic seeds that we have planted in a manner whereby we may grow from the experiences.
You will find that the people you see and feel the most evil in, will at some point be affected by your energy and you will notice changes in them. I hope that you remember the technique that I showed you about using The Blood of Christ. (Pray: “Dear Lord, please place the Blood of Christ over me as a hedge of protection. A-men'.”)
Even if a person is being negative to you, you will see them change when you go past the fears inside you. It is fear that attracts the worst part of our fellow humans. Although we cannot make them change unless they want to change themselves, we can at least affect them whilst in their presence, whereby we are actually planting seeds that may soon grow in their lives. Never underestimate the power of just being present with another person (no matter how distasteful a character) and just listening to them and seeing in our minds eye the potential that exists in them - they are an 'unfinished product'. The power of listening is something that allows another to sometimes even discover things about themselves that they didn’t even realise. We actually extract it out of them just by being present and attentive. (They reflect their voice off us and hear what they need to know and learn. It can be helpful to visualise white light coming down from God, through our crown into our heart centre. With neutral thoughts we still the mind and visualise white light emanating from our heart centre into theirs – then with no expectations, allow the love and healing of God to shift their consciousness for good. This technique may be used in any conversation with any person – to facilitate the highest good.)
Often seemingly ‘bad’ people are wonderful human beings that have built up facades or ‘masks’ in order to try and cope with the environment that they are faced with. (These ‘bad’ people are all divine beings within, and it is important to reflect upon the fact that they have usually been through some terrible life experiences causing them to live life the way we see them today.) Remember to try and listen rather than talk all the time and then you will in time extract this goodness from within them and along the way extract the deeper self out of you.
