Money is something that greatly affects the people of this planet. It has been said that it is the 'root of all evil'. I would like to challenge this assumption. Money, I feel, is merely a conduit of energy. It can be used for both negative and positive purposes. Money gives people the ability to make choices and it is these choices that I would like to focus upon today.
For those with money, they carry with them a responsibility. An example being that when many come into money quickly, through a lottery win or similar, they do not usually have the skills to manage the money and for 95% of people it typically lasts only a couple of years.
This is often due to buying items that require maintenance, insurance and upkeep, such as cars and houses – and without careful management of cash flow, it is common for the cash to run out. A person who has money management skills knows that money must be invested and that the cash the investment produces is the only ‘true money’ one should be spending – thus, one holds onto their wealth!
For the person who does not have any money, having some, would give them the ability to make choices. They may for instance, buy better food to eat and medications that they could otherwise not have afforded.
For a wealthy person, there is a responsibility to those who are less fortunate. In fact, the more a wealthy person gives away [to true persons in need], the more the wealthy person will reap blessings from their Karma, in effect from God, to continue bringing them more and more positive abundance. Therefore, the more money that we make, the more people we can help – which in turn blesses us with more income coming in, and in turn gives us the ability to employ more people and so on. Giving to others creates an exponential energy. God needs us to go out and give, for God is not currently upon the earth to do such giving. In effect, we become conduits of God, and it is for this reason we should meditate to discern if it is God's will that we are giving to such and such a person or cause.
