Is the business or workplace that you own, work in or buy products from, assisting the positive evolution of our planet as a whole? Is the workplace selfish or selfless?
When you buy a product, is it made to last and easily recyclable for when it does come to the end of its life? Or, does the product have a short life-span and is difficult to recycle, consequently ending up in landfill, further poisoning our environment?
Today I would like you to consider how a creative outlet aligns us with our spiritual path. A creative outlet can be sport, writing, poetry, dancing, gardening, art and a myriad of other activities. Creativity is a medium that allows us to purge our spirit – in effect opening up our spirit to our higher consciousness, the greater part of ourselves where we [on some level] commune with God.
The hard times we face in life are often purified and purged through creative outlets. In fact, the best art or creativity often happens in the darkest moments we may be facing.
Money is something that greatly affects the people of this planet. It has been said that it is the 'root of all evil'. I would like to challenge this assumption. Money, I feel, is merely a conduit of energy. It can be used for both negative and positive purposes. Money gives people the ability to make choices and it is these choices that I would like to focus upon today.
For those with money, they carry with them a responsibility. An example being that when many come into money quickly, through a lottery win or similar, they do not usually have the skills to manage the money and for 95% of people it typically lasts only a couple of years.
Success is something that is made up of a sturdy foundation—built with basic steps that anyone may implement. Whilst success may seem to evade the greater population—it is available to each of us equally.
Failing to plan is planning to fail; therefore, one of the fundamental requirements of success is to research and plan carefully.
Fear is the enemy of success. If we think ‘perhaps I will not make it’, then that is exactly what will happen! Shifting our thoughts to positive affirmations (such as: “Through diligent research and planning I Am successful”) and combining this with positive action in the form of research and planning, will begin to form a sturdy foundation for success.
Why do some people seem to get all the breaks and yet for many of us we just seem to come up against brick walls? Ironically, the brick wall we are being blocked by is not the issue, it is continuing to focus on the brick wall after it has appeared in our life that manifests a further impediment with the same or another brick wall!
We all know that the first brick wall we come up against is real! In fact it is a damn difficult annoyance!
Some days life feels as though it is just not flowing. We are however, always exactly where we are meant to be! What! How can I be exactly where I am meant to be and subsist through so much suffering? Life does not seem fair!
Extraordinarily, life is completely fair. In fact we merely reap what we sow in a manner that is conducive to us learning ongoing lessons for our spiritual growth – for our evolvement as a human if you will.
How are your relationships going? Friendships, business associates and family members are all relationships that we have to navigate on a daily basis. How we navigate these affects both the other parties and ourselves.
Whilst others seem to affect us, we are responsible for our internal reactions to the external matters about us. Whilst we cannot control how others act and what they think or say about us, we can be in command of what we think and our attached reactions.
God is not this monstrous and vengeful God that some make Him/Her out to be. Sure He/She could be and I would not like to piss Him/Her off; however, He/She is first and foremost merciful and empathetic. All of us have sinned and fall short of the Grace that is freely given to us by God. You may yourself worry about things that you have done. God is not so interested in the things that we have done. God has forgiven us for them, though there are some conditions. Have we confessed what we have done wrong, at the minimum direct to God? Have we developed enough regret to ensure that we will not repeat the behaviour? Have we forgiven ourselves?
Have you ever wondered why some people heal and others do not? Whilst I do not have the exact antidote to healing, I wish to offer up some thoughts to ponder.
Healing is a direct conduit of our consciousness. The original sickness and/or accident and its manifestation in our physical body come directly from where our consciousness is at – in effect if we have spiritual blockages and 'karma', we attract sickness and/or accidents. It goes then that our healing relates to our consciousness and our karma.
Imagine for a moment that your life is represented by a field – one acre in size. Reflecting back over your life – visualise that every time you have had a negative thought or said something negative or done something negative, that this has planted vividly negative seeds in the field of your life. As time progressed, these seeds grew into horrible looking, twisted and thorny weeds representing all the ill fortune, negative events and negative people in your life.
