Success is something that is made up of a sturdy foundation—built with basic steps that anyone may implement. Whilst success may seem to evade the greater population—it is available to each of us equally.
Failing to plan is planning to fail; therefore, one of the fundamental requirements of success is to research and plan carefully.
Fear is the enemy of success. If we think ‘perhaps I will not make it’, then that is exactly what will happen! Shifting our thoughts to positive affirmations (such as: “Through diligent research and planning I Am successful”) and combining this with positive action in the form of research and planning, will begin to form a sturdy foundation for success.
Why do some people seem to get all the breaks and yet for many of us we just seem to come up against brick walls? Ironically, the brick wall we are being blocked by is not the issue, it is continuing to focus on the brick wall after it has appeared in our life that manifests a further impediment with the same or another brick wall!
We all know that the first brick wall we come up against is real! In fact it is a damn difficult annoyance!
Some days life feels as though it is just not flowing. We are however, always exactly where we are meant to be! What! How can I be exactly where I am meant to be and subsist through so much suffering? Life does not seem fair!
Extraordinarily, life is completely fair. In fact we merely reap what we sow in a manner that is conducive to us learning ongoing lessons for our spiritual growth – for our evolvement as a human if you will.
How are your relationships going? Friendships, business associates and family members are all relationships that we have to navigate on a daily basis. How we navigate these affects both the other parties and ourselves.
Whilst others seem to affect us, we are responsible for our internal reactions to the external matters about us. Whilst we cannot control how others act and what they think or say about us, we can be in command of what we think and our attached reactions.
Have you ever wondered why some people heal and others do not? Whilst I do not have the exact antidote to healing, I wish to offer up some thoughts to ponder.
Healing is a direct conduit of our consciousness. The original sickness and/or accident and its manifestation in our physical body come directly from where our consciousness is at – in effect if we have spiritual blockages and 'karma', we attract sickness and/or accidents. It goes then that our healing relates to our consciousness and our karma.
Imagine for a moment that your life is represented by a field – one acre in size. Reflecting back over your life – visualise that every time you have had a negative thought or said something negative or done something negative, that this has planted vividly negative seeds in the field of your life. As time progressed, these seeds grew into horrible looking, twisted and thorny weeds representing all the ill fortune, negative events and negative people in your life.
So, how many material items do you own that you NEVER use? Everything that we own holds a small part of our energy, a little piece of us and the more we own and do not use, potentially the less energy we have access to in our spiritual being...
When we give away our material stuff, we create positive karma, open doorways to new energy, new events and a new life...
Giving away our stuff is freeing to the spirit, cultivates humbleness and allows karmic purification; for when we hold on to "stuff" we create future karmic events whereby we will lose our material items and have to face our "attachments".
Homelessness is a place of despair and loss - My former wife Karen knows - She was there. Nonetheless, I verily believe (based on many experiences) that if you pray with all your heart and your soul and all your mind, that you WILL be provided with a place to live. Karen did this when she was living on the side of a mountain with four children in tents after being evicted due to a government computer error. She prayed, then meditated quietly and felt an inner voice tell her not to stress (Yeah right!)
Whether we like it not, our partner was 'attracted' into our life by our karma. Our partner or soulmate has been sent with the specific purpose of 'pressing our buttons' in order that we may grow. In fact a true soulmate, will continue to cause us to have to grow.
Whilst we may choose not to learn from these lessons (our partner pressing our buttons) and we may 'blame' our partner for 'their' reactions to us...
Are you a workaholic? Do you work extra hours in the hope of making enough money for that future day? Perhaps that day will never come - you may pass away - I hope that you don't. Karma is a funny thing, if we don't take a look at our lives, we may get "Run over by The Karma Bus"!
Living in the present moment can be drastically affected by our attitude and our attitude is shaped often by the stresses in our life. A possible stress for many of us is money
